An easy vegan mushroom gravy recipe, using chestnut mushrooms, garlic and cornflour.
150g chestnut mushrooms (crimini or brown mushrooms)
1 large clove garlic
2 tablespoons coconut or olive oil
200ml water (just over 3/4 cup)
2 heaped teaspoons cornflour/cornstarch
1 heaped teaspoon onion granules (or powder)
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
